What can Meditation & Mindfulness treat?

Mindfulness and Meditation are clinically proven to help relieve pain, anxiety, depression, sleeplessness and other conditions. Meditation also benefits general wellbeing and radically improves our relationship with ourselves and others. The practise of learning how to focus our mind and be able to let go of ‘mind chatter’ leads to a profound sense of stillness which causes a hormonal change in our bodies – from fight or flight adrenalin to calming endorphins- this gives us a real sense of control over our own lives.
Meditation therapy is a transformational 1-1 session where we work together intuitively to find the underlying causes of physical, emotional and mental imbalances and use guided meditation to release and re-balance issues. Additional guided meditations are provided to assist with ongoing transformation at home.

Treatment process

Most meditations are practiced seated on chairs (unless you are more comfortable lying, or moving) and incorporate a little bit of theory with the guided practice. You will learn how to manage ‘mind chatter’ and negative thoughts and feelings through Mindfulness and other types of guided Meditation and discover which type of Meditation is best suited to your personality.

Introductory courses, drop in classes and 1-1 sessions all last for 1 hour.

Meditation & Mindfulness courses, and drop in sessions are held on Tuesday evenings.

1:1 sessions can be held at a time / day to suit you.
