I am a Registered Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist. Following my own personal health issues and infertility I turned to Nutrition and holistic therapies to support my body and nurture my health. Nutritional therapy became a life line. It offered a way to help myself when I felt like my body wasn’t my own, when I didn’t understand it and I felt like it was working against me.
I studied with the College of Naturopathic Nutrition and qualified back in 2018, since then I have been supporting women with their health in my private practice. Particularly through transitional times like pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. All of these phases of life require our bodies to adjust and evolve and our health needs extra support and nourishment to do that.
I help with issues like anxiety, depression, insomnia, fatigue, stress, hormonal balance, cognition and building a healthier relationship with food to name a few.
My aim is to address the underlying cause of your concerns, I give you the tools and information to make sustainable adjustments to your diet and lifestyle, encourage you to learn how your body functions and hopefully I can help you find a way to enjoy cooking and eating for your health. Living in a healthful way does not mean we must deprive ourselves of the things we enjoy.
I am registered with The Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and regulated by the General Naturopathic Council (GNC).
Nutritional therapy isn’t about treating the symptoms, it is about finding and addressing the root causes of these issues. Symptoms are messages from your body highlighting an imbalance within.
We are all different and will experience symptoms unique to us, a one size fits all approach is redundant and unhelpful. Nutritional Therapy approaches each individual with a holistic perspective considering all elements of their diet but also their lifestyle, environment & emotional state as these all contribute to our health. It all builds the picture and history that makes you and how you are experiencing life within your body.
I believe Simplicity is the key, we are often living out of alignment with our needs, this adds further to the overwhelm we experience as mothers. It’s about returning to a natural state of wellbeing.
