BSc (Hons) Ost, MSc Ost, DO, BSc (Hons) Psych., MBPsS, MIBMS
Carol has worked as an osteopath since January 2006, having previously worked in the fields of education and biomedical science, both as a teacher of children with learning difficulties and in routine hospital laboratories, where she worked in the fields of haematology, blood banking, biochemistry and histopathology. This gives Carol the advantage of being able to bring, to any osteopathic dilemma, a sound grounding both in the fields of pathology and psychology.
Carol trained at the European School of Osteopathy, which provides a broad-based course covering a wide range of technique such as articulation, thrust, soft tissue, cranial, balanced ligamentous tension, muscle energy, fascial and some visceral approaches.
Further study has included an MSc in Osteopathy at the European School of Osteopathy and studies towards part I of a Professional Doctorate in Osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy. In addition Carol has worked as a lecturer (Psychology and Clinical Neurology) and is currently a Clinic Tutor at the European School of Osteopathy.
